Motorized "stinkin" bikes

BYU-Idaho is an amazing place to attend school; well, if random unpredictable weather doesn't bother you than it is. Anyways I work on BYU-I grounds so I have the chance to see some pretty interesting things while I am out and about on campus...
Something that intrigues me the most is the mode of transportation people use: feet, shoes, unicycle, motorcycle, mo-ped, mountain bike, road bike, skater dude bike, Finding Forester bike, boy riding girl bike, tandem bike, DI bike, probably stolen bike, etc. Yes, I could go on about the different modes for hours, but I would like to focus on the dang motorized bike. Every time I see someone cruising up the street on one of these I want to throw a stick into their spokes, they drive me absolutely crazy. Now I understand these bikes are similar in nature to a Mo-Ped especially one like mine that does not go very fast; however, my Scoot does not have peddles! And its street legal! Oh, its also way more attractive and I can carry a second person! The motorized bikes are just a lame excuse for the average person to be even more lazy...."Gee this hill is pretty steep, let me pull start my 'peddle bike' so I can make it" no wonder America is getting lazier with each passing generation...why in the world would you want to put gas into something that is supposed to help you save money???!! If you look at the picture your legs look like their constantly attacked by exhaust! I MEAN....
You wouldn't ride these bikes because you thought they were beautiful; it looks like some guy bought Marven's old bike from DI, took apart his Dad's lawn mower and used the engine so he could get up hills. The more I think about it the more lame this bike becomes...I have just thought of something that I have seen that furthers my frustration; when I see Mr. Lawn Mower Engine cruising around with his engine "revving" on either level streets, or downward sloping streets, are you feeling the worthlessness of these bikes?
Here is how I see it, you have the "cool" guys who have motorcycles/jet bikes, you have the wannabes (ME) with scooters, and then you have the guys who pretend they own either of these bikes on their motorized bike. Motorized bicycles need to go and they need to go now! Get off your peddle mower and use your feet...you might just see that gut vanish, or maybe invent motorized shoes, well, on second thought DO NOT invent those...yikes.

Yeah, the image of pull starting the motor on your bike is AWESOME! I now have my answer to "Why are American's Obese" for the BL Casting! :) Hahahaha!
