We got to work, work, to work this out....

Working out has always been an interesting thing for me...it all started in 11th grade when me and my friends got a passes to Golds Gym and since then I have always found ways to stay in shape. So for about 10 years of my life I have ridden the roller coaster that is working out. It got to the point that I was doing over an hour of hard cardio and losing over 1500 calories a day, or every other day; on top of all of this there was basketball twice a week as well...so I was in shape, but it was scary almost like an eating disorder. Then one day I met Suzi and she snapped me out of this crazy routine and I found myself in better shape because I was much happier with what I was doing, Suzi brought me back from something that was great at the time but was something that could have turned more serious later.
Now I find myself bored with my mundane workouts that have been the same for a year or so now. So naturally I asked the hamster to get back on the wheel and help me come up with a new routine that would challenge, excite, and show me results.
So here it is...

1. Run 2-3 miles four times a week
2. Hit the gym three times a week
ABS, Push-ups, Pull-Ups, and Dips
3. Sports as often as I can
4. Convince myself to stretch so I can stay lose

This is my plan for the next six week, I weigh 197 and I would love to get to 188-189 by the end of the break. Now don't get me wrong I am not fat and out of shape, I just want to slim down and become more tone. Of course, by the end of the break I hope to start P90x and really get down to business. Also, I will post some before and after pictures and hope for the best.

  2. I am going to do the same program with some extra miles in the running area. My problem is I love to run, but don't do enough of the toning stuff. This will give me more motivation. Thanks Ty.
